Two capital clubs admitted to the Synergy Draft™ pool

PEFA confirms that Red Star Beijing and DC Diplomats FC have been admitted to the Synergy Draft™ pool, which grows from thirteen to fifteen global partners. Both are eligible from the 2036 draw.

The two clubs were admitted after a single meeting of the Global Inclusion Committee. The minutes record the meeting as productive. The Committee did not publish its reasoning, in line with standing practice.

Neither club is placed on the league’s reputation ladder. Each is backed by its capital, and each has registered its own nationals as strategic assets, which are not offered for sale. PEFA notes that this is a matter for the clubs, and for whichever committee the clubs refer it to.

The draw places no limit on both capital clubs being drawn in the same summer. PEFA describes such a summer as a broadcast opportunity.
